This particular module has been very interesting and informative. I have learnt a lot from the lectures and supportive media provided in this period. I was specifically interested in the roles information systems plays in organizations, the help it gives in making decisions in different parts of an organization and the information flow between people.

In the modern business paradigm, a major role of information systems in constructing the higher performance of business can never be denied. Aside from a major impact on the bottom – line results of an organisation, it also has a considerable impact on the customer orientation and satisfaction level of the customers (Xiaoying, Qianqian, and Dezhi 2008). In the paper under consideration, the authors have re-explored the link between customer orientation and business performance. Seemingly, there is a direct link between two aspects, nevertheless, empirical research has little evidence, which has been re-examined in the paper under considerations.

The paper to be critiqued by Kuo (2014) aims to explore the impacts of ERP on the business performance of a firm. A case study research has been adopted for this purpose.
