CUSTOMER ORIENTATION AND BUSINESS PERFORMANCE – ROLE OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS

A critique of a theoretical paper titled: Re-examining the link between Customer Orientation and Business Performance: The role of Information Systems  written by Zhen Zhu and Cheryl Nakata

In the modern business paradigm, a major role of information systems in constructing the higher performance of business can never be denied. Aside from a major impact on the bottom – line results of an organisation, it also has a considerable impact on the customer orientation and satisfaction level of the customers (Xiaoying, Qianqian, and Dezhi 2008). In the paper under consideration, the authors have re-explored the link between customer orientation and business performance. Seemingly, there is a direct link between two aspects, nevertheless, empirical research has little evidence, which has been re-examined in the paper under considerations.

It will definitely put you in long queues in superstores and even outside of banks.
